Isiaih Mosley, 20-point scorer from Missouri State, reportedly commits to SEC school
Isiaih Mosley reportedly narrowed down his list of top schools to 2 on Monday afternoon — Mizzou and Mississippi State.
However, it apparently didn’t take long for the talented Missouri State forward to chose a final destination for the 2022-23 season.
Per college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Mosley has committed to Mizzou and new head coach Dennis Gates for the upcoming season:

Mosley is a Columbia, Missouri, native and played high school basketball at Rock Bridge. He has played the last 3 years at Missouri State. In 2021-22, he appeared in 34 games for the Bears, making 32 starts. He averaged 20.4 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.2 steals per contest.
We’ll see what sort of role he carves out for himself at Mizzou, but it seems Gates has a talented player to add to the Tigers’ roster for his first season at the helm of the program.
Since Missouri has a System of State University’s (capitalized) in 7 cities and regions it’s just plain inaccurate to buy into the marketing scheme former Southwest Missouri State wants you to buy. Just call them SW Missouri State, and just say no to the false marketing scheme. I’m also wonder if anyone in the Truman family gave permission ro NE Missouri State ro substitute their name,, never mind the tax payers who actually deserve the credit for floating that ship for a couple of lifetimes
Marketing scheme? Missouri State isn’t a part of the Missouri system and the has four campuses of their own. Their name changed a long time ago. You might want to accept that reality.
