Missouri lands commitment from elite junior college prospect Jadarrius Perkins
Missouri continues to pick up momentum this offseason with the latest good news coming on the recruiting trail for Eli Drinkwitz’s program.
The Tigers recently landed a commitment from Mississippi native Jadarrius Perkins, who looks to be an instant impact defender for Steve Wilks’ defense in 2021. Rated as one of the elite junior college prospects, regardless of position, Perkins most recently played for Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
The Hattiesburg native is rated as the No. 5 overall junior college prospect in the country for the 2021 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings and the No. 3 junior college cornerback in the class.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Perkins picked Missouri over scholarship offers from Alabama, LSU, Florida State and Oregon, among others.
News of Perkins’ pledge to Missouri elevates the program’s current recruiting class into the top 25 for the 2021 cycle, as the Tigers currently have the No. 24 recruiting class nationally and the No. 9 class in the SEC.
