Kelly Bryant isn’t the first player to pull this move but considering his flamboyant attitude, combined with the fact he is now the face of Missouri’s offense, it’s a little unusual that he plans to keep his face hidden from the team’s media during training camp.

Or at least, that’s what he claims to be doing.

Missouri has just opened camp in Columbia and the one player the media wants to speak with the most may just be playing games with those charged with covering the program, but if he’s attempting to stay out of the spotlight, his decision to wear his helmet during interviews backfired on him on Friday.

According to those in attendance, Bryant claims he will not remove his helmet until the final practice of training camp.

“I just want to be different,” Bryant told reporters. Try telling that to Georgia kicker, Ricardo Blankenship.
