Key Mizzou senior defender announces he’ll return to Tigers for 2021 season

Since the 2020 season didn’t count as a year of eligibility for players, many seniors are facing tough decisions about whether to head off to try their luck in the pros or return to school to boost their draft stock.
On Wednesday evening, Mizzou DL Akial Byers made his decision about the 2021 season.
As you can see below, he took to Twitter to post a message saying he’ll return to Mizzou for another senior campaign:

Byers appeared in 9 games for the Tigers this season, recording 15 tackles (2 for a loss). In his 4 years in Columbia thus far, he’s recorded 56 tackles (6 for a loss), 3 fumble recoveries (1 for a touchdown) and a forced fumble.
How will he fare in 2021? We’ll find out next fall!
