Lackluster win over UConn keeps Mizzou just inside AP Top 25
If Maty Mauk continues to struggle, there could be an eventual quarterback controversy at Mizzou.
Coach Gary Pinkel was not happy with his team’s offensive performance during Saturday’s 9-6 win over UConn, the Tigers’ third straight to open the season.
The victory kept Mizzou just inside the Week 4 AP Top 25 at No. 25, a three-spot drop.
“We’ve got a lot of problems on offense,” coach Gary Pinkel said. “We’re not synchronized. We’re breaking down here and there. There’s no consistency.”
