Michael Sam, former Mizzou star, lands coaching job in Spain

Michael Sam was a dominant defensive end for the Missouri Tigers when Mizzou joined the SEC. In fact, he won the SEC Defensive Player of the Year award in 2013.
After playing for the St. Louis Rams’ and Dallas Cowboys’ practice squads in 2014, he played for the Montreal Alouettes in 2015.
Now, he’s getting his coaching career started. As you can see below, the Barcelona Dragons announced Sam had joined the squad as the defensive line coach:

Established in 2021, the Barcelona Dragons play in the European League of Football.
Sam was the No. 249 overall pick in Round 7 of the 2014 NFL Draft after his standout career at Mizzou.
