Missouri flips major DB commitment from SEC West powerhouse

Missouri’s 2022 recruiting class picked up a huge addition on Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers have added 3-star defensive back Marcus Scott II. Here’s his announcement:

Scott was previously committed to LSU since January of 2021. He attends Conroe High School in Conroe, Texas. He’s currently listed at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds.

According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Scott is the No. 36 cornerback and the No. 378 overall player in the country.

Scott’s announcement comes on the heels of an official visit to Mizzou. He also has offers from Texas Tech, Houston and UNLV.

With this news, LSU is now down to 11 commitments in the class of 2022.

Missouri now has nine commitments in the class of 2022. The Tigers’ class ranks No. 16 nationally and No. 8 in the SEC, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.
