Missouri jumps up into top-15 ranking prior to SEC Championship
The Missouri Tigers are now preparing for the SEC Championship matchup against top-ranked Alabama, but Gary Pinkel’s squad received more good news today with the latest release of the polls.
Following the Tigers’ 21-14 win over the Arkansas Razorbacks, the SEC East Champs rose in both polls all the way up to No. 13 in the Amway Coaches Poll and to No. 14 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll.

Despite receiving another bump in the rankings, Missouri is still not thought of very highly among voters. In both poll, Missouri is the lowest-ranked two-loss team and even one spot behind a three-loss Ole Miss team in the AP Top 25.
