Missouri has added a new commitment to the 2020 recruiting class. Viera (Melbourne, Florida) strong-side defensive end Cooper Davis announced Sunday (via Twitter) he has committed to the Tigers.

Interestingly enough, 247Sports did not list Mizzou as one of Davis’ 18 scholarship offers at the time of the commitment announcement. The site’s Composite rankings have Davis at 3-stars and rated the No. 57 strong-side defensive end, No. 137 Florida recruit and No. 1,101 prospect overall for the class of 2020.

Davis took part in Nike’s “The Opening” regional competition camp in February, posting a 5.12-second 40-yard dash, 4.62-second shuttle and 23.20-inch vertical. He checked in at 6-5, 245 pounds at the event.
