Missouri QB Drew Lock passes huge career milestone against South Carolina
On the his first play against South Carolina on Saturday, Missouri’s Drew Lock joined an elite club of SEC quarterbacks.
The senior signal-caller found Jalen Knox for a 44-yard pass early in the first quarter to eclipse 10,000 career passing yards. Lock is only the ninth SEC quarterback to accomplish that feat.

The other eight conference quarterbacks to reach that milestone are Aaron Murray (Georgia), David Greene (Georgia), Chris Leak (Florida), Peyton Manning (Tennessee) Eric Zeier (Georgia), Danny Wuerffel (Florida), Jared Lorenzen (Kentucky) and Eli Manning (Ole Miss).
With half a season left, Lock will likely continue climbing the ranks of all-time SEC passers and will have a chance to cement himself among the top five in terms of career yardage.
Lock is 4-of-5 for 81 yards through one quarter as the Tigers lead the Gamecocks 14-7 early in the second quarter.
