Missouri releases 2017 season hype video titled ‘soon’

The countdown to the Sept. 2 season opener at home in Columbia against Missouri State is on for Mizzou.

The Tigers released a new video Thursday hyping up the fans for the programs showdown against the Bears. Missouri State is coached by former Mizzou assistant Dave Steckel and is coming off a 4-7 season in 2016. Mizzou does not play away from home until Oct. 7, the fifth week of the season. Defending its home turf will be critical to the program making it to a bowl for the first time under Barry Odom in 2017.

Will the Tigers start the season off on the right foot with a big home win? If you aren’t excited for some Missouri football after watching this video, there’s not much hope for you:
