The Missouri Tigers lost 3 key offensive linemen to either graduation or the NFL Draft this offseason — Yasir Durant, Trystan Colon-Castillo and Tre’Vour Wallace-Simms.

That leaves them with some holes that need to be filled ahead of the 2020 season, and they could use some experienced players.

Well, on Friday, Rutgers graduate transfer center Michael Maietti announced on Twitter that he was transferring to Mizzou:

You may remember Maietti for one of his ill-fated celebrations in which he punched his own quarterback in the helmet:

Maietti has started 33 games for the Scarlet Knights. He’ll have 1 year of eligibility remaining and can play right away.

The Tigers, however, also lost a player from their roster, as it was reported that Mizzou RB Anthony Watkins had entered the NCAA transfer portal:

Watkins is a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and was a freshman in 2019.
