Mizzou has finalized its 2022 football schedule, and that schedule will feature plenty of home games.

On Tuesday, the school announced its final nonconference home game of the year — a Sept. 3 showdown against Louisiana Tech.

As you can see below, the Tigers announced the Bulldogs, under new head coach Sonny Cumbie, would be visiting Faurot Field to kick off the 2022 campaign. Louisiana Tech replaces Middle Tennessee on Mizzou’s schedule:

“We worked hard to ensure a seventh home game,” Mizzou Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois said in a statement. “It’s important to our football program, fans and local economy to have a full slate of games at Faurot Field. We look forward to welcoming Louisiana Tech to Columbia for the first time as part of a competitive home schedule which features 2021 National Champion Georgia, Kentucky, Arkansas and Vanderbilt.”

Mizzou will also play at Kansas State and at home vs. Abilene Christian and New Mexico State during nonconference play.
