The Missouri Tigers hosted their annual “Rally for Rhyan” game on Saturday to support the daughter of former assistant coach Brad Loos who battled a stage 4 neuroblastoma.

While Rhyan is not yet technically in remission, according to STLToday.com, she has no evidence of the cancer, so Saturday’s game was a more festive affair.

The game, which the Tigers won in overtime over the visiting Mississippi State Bulldogs, also managed to raise a substantial amount of money for pediatric cancer research:

Brad Loos now works in Mizzou’s fundraising department, so he knows the importance of giving money to good causes.

Saturday’s game insured that more money will be going to cancer research, so hopefully kids like Rhyan won’t have to fight the horrible disease in the future.
