Missouri baseball started off SEC play in dominant fashion, beating No. 2 Tennessee 9-1 in Knoxville. Mizzou, which is now 14-3 on the season, has won 3 straight.

The Tigers got to Tennessee’s pitching staff quickly, jumping to a 4-0 lead by the end of the first inning. When all was said and done, the Tigers tagged Tennessee’s ace Chase Dollander for 6 runs and 9 hits. They added 3 runs with Andrew Lindsey on the mound as well.

Chandler Murphy, on the other hand, was incredible against Tennessee’s strong group of hitters. He allowed just 3 hits, totaling 5 Ks and just 1 earned run, facing 22 batters.

The Tigers look to take the series Saturday at 1 p.m.
