Mizzou basketball lands transfer from Kansas State

Days after Mark Smith transferred from Mizzou to Kansas State, the Tigers have landed a Wildcat transfer.

On Friday, Kansas State transfer DaJuan Gordon announced his commitment to MU. A sophomore for the 2020-21 campaign, Gordon played in 25 games, starting 22, averaging 9.1 points and 5.5 rebounds over 28.5 minutes per game. As a freshman, Gordon played in 32 games (11 starts), contributing 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds over 24.2 minutes per game.

In his collegiate career, Gordon has shot 40.6 percent from the field, 26.9 percent beyond the arc and 72.6 percent at the free-throw line.

Gordon, from Chicago, was rated the No. 29 shooting guard and No. 163 prospect overall in the class of 2019 on the 247Sports Composite.
