Two weeks after entering the NCAA transfer portal, former Mizzou guard Torrence Watson has committed to transfer to Elon, a Colonial Athletic Association program in North Carolina.

Watson’s high school coach shared the news on Twitter.

Mizzou beat writer Dave Matter noted that Elon is coached by Mike Schrage, who was an Ohio State assistant when Watson initially committed to the Buckeyes.

A native of St. Louis, Watson started only six games in his three seasons at MU and made only one start during Mizzou’s most recent two seasons. He averaged 1.8 points per game this season and 4.8 points for his career.
