Kirk Herbstreit has been getting a lot of criticism lately after he said he’d be surprised if we had a 2020 college football season.
The ESPN analyst is entitled to his opinion, but for some reason, his comments have drawn a lot of criticism from people in the college football world.
On Wednesday, Mizzou coach Eliah Drinkwitz became the latest to criticize Herbstreit’s comments, doing so on a Zoom call with reporters:
Drinkwitz on whether there's a 2020 season: "For me to forecast anything in the future is a lot of wasted energy and effort." Says those thoughts get people concerned with what's irrelevant right now.

He’s not the first and probably won’t be the last to question whether or not the 2020 season will take place.
