Mizzou coach Eliah Drinkwitz explains why he is willing to try any protocols doctors recommend

As we prepare for the 2020 season, it still isn’t known exactly what each conference’s scheduling protocols will look like.
Many people have opinions, but the details have yet to be finalized by a number of conferences around the country, including the SEC.
So, what does new Mizzou coach Eliah Drinkwitz think of the debate? Appearing on “The Paul Finebaum Show” on Tuesday, Drinkwitz delivered a great quote, injecting some humor to say he’ll follow whatever protocols doctors and experts agree are best:
"I’m a football coach. Ask me about third downs, I’m ready to rock and roll. Ask me about epidemiology, that ain’t my wheelhouse. I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn last night. Let’s let the doctors figure that out. If they give me a protocol to try, let’s try it."

Conferences are going to have to decide what the safest way to have a season this fall is. Many lower-level conferences have already postponed their fall seasons until at least the spring.
What will happen at the Power 5 level? We’ll find out over the next couple of weeks, it seems.
