Mizzou DB Tyree Gillespie posts blazing 40-yard dash time at Pro Day

Mizzou held its Pro Day on Monday, with a number of guys looking to help improve their stock ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft.
One of those players is safety Tyree Gillespie, and he indeed put together a great performance on Monday, particularly in the 40-yard dash.
As you can see below, Gillespie clocked 2 impressive 40 times — 4.38 seconds on his first run and 4.40 seconds on his second run:

That speed in the defensive backfield will have Gillespie rising up draft boards around the league. He won’t be a first-round pick like Mizzou LB Nick Bolton potentially will be, but he can ensure he hears his name called during the 7-round event in Cleveland in April.
Gillespie recorded 146 tackles (6 for a loss), 2 sacks, 12 pass breakups and a forced fumble during his 4 years with the Tigers.
