Mizzou defensive lineman out for the season with torn ACL, 'dented bone fracture'
The Missouri Tigers held a practice on Saturday night and freshman DL Kyran Montgomery didn’t make it through the whole session.
He left the practice with an injury, and it appears it was quite a serious thing — something that will cause him to miss the entire 2021 season.
Montgomery took to his Instagram Stories on Sunday morning to reveal he has a torn ACL, and something called a “dented bone fracture” that sounds incredibly painful:

This is bad news for a Missouri defense that already has depth issues. While Montgomery wasn’t expected to start, the Tigers need to develop some depth everywhere on the defense.
Montgomery, a native of Indianapolis, was the No. 29 edge rusher in the 2021 recruiting class and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Indiana, per the 247Sports composite rankings.
