Mizzou is one of four teams currently in the mix for Alabama transfer defensive lineman Isaiah Hastings.

Hastings, who entered the transfer portal in December, shared photos of his visits to Mizzou, Cal, Illinois and Syracuse in a social media post. With many schools starting the spring semester, one would expect Hastings will be enrolling at his new university in the near future.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Hastings prepped at Clearwater (Florida) Academy International. As a prospect, he was rated 4-stars, the No. 26 player in the state of Florida, No. 29 defensive lineman and No. 219 recruit overall in the Class of 2022 on the 247Sports Composite.

Hastings picked up scholarship offers from 30 programs during his initial recruitment. He signed with Alabama over interest from Mizzou, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and others.

Last season, Hastings made his 2022 debut against ULM, logging his first tackle. He did not record any playing time in 2023 before entering the transfer portal. Hastings has three seasons of remaining eligibility.
