Caleb Pyfrom has switched sides in the Arch Rivalry. The former Illinois pledge is now verbally committed to Mizzou ahead of the Early Signing Period.

Pyfrom, a lineman out of Nebraska, made the announcement on Monday via social media.

A standout of Omaha Central High School, Pyfrom is listed as measuring 6-5 and 315 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Pyfrom is rated 3-stars, the No. 7 players in the state of Nebraska, No. 53 interior offensive lineman and No. 727 prospect overall in the Class of 2024.

Pyfrom has picked up scholarship offers from 12 programs during his recruitment. He committed to Illinois in June after an official visit to Champaign. In October, he decommitted from the Illini. Penn State, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa, Colorado, Minnesota and Nebraska are among the other programs to show interest in Pyfrom.

With Pyfrom on board, Mizzou now has 18 verbal commitments in its 2024 recruiting class. Tiger fans can get a preview of what Pyfrom brings to Columbia by checking out his senior season highlights, below, via Hudl:
