Mizzou lands commitment from talented 2019 small forward out of Alabama

The Missouri Tigers dipped into Alabama on Tuesday afternoon to land a commitment for their 2019 recruiting class.

Though the announcement ceremony took a while, 3-star SF Kobe Brown eventually announced that he was committing to Cuonzo Martin and the Tigers.

Per a tweet from Jake Weingarten, Brown picked Mizzou over Vanderbilt, Penn State and Minnesota:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Brown is the No. 55 small forward in the class of 2019 and the No. 4 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.

Brown is the third player in the Tigers’ 2019 recruiting class. Prior to his commitment, the Tigers’ class ranked No. 57 in the nation and No. 12 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
