After taking its first loss of the 2021 season last week, Missouri has a good opportunity to bounce back.

On Saturday, the Tigers will be hosting Southeast Missouri State, an FCS team out of the Ohio Valley Conference. It should be a chance for Mizzou to reestablish some momentum before going on the road to take on Boston College the following week.

Missouri, which is 1-1 after beating Central Michigan and losing to Kentucky, announced its captains for this week’s game on Twitter on Friday:

This will be Missouri’s second home game of the year after opening the season at Memorial Stadium. It’ll be the fifth time the Tigers are playing the Redhawks, with Mizzou having won each of the previous 4 meetings.

Missouri won, 50-0, in 2019, the last time the two schools faced off.

Here’s a hype video for the matchup that the Tigers dropped on Twitter on Friday:

Missouri and Southeast Missouri State will kick off on Saturday at noon ET on ESPN+.
