The Missouri Tigers got their first win of SEC play this season with Saturday’s 17-14 victory over Vanderbilt.

The Tigers have come close to winning a pair of conference matchups this year, including the one over the No.1-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, but have consistently come up short until now. The Tigers released their “Tigers of The Week” via Twitter on Sunday.

That list included wide receiver Luther Burden, defensive back Kris Abram, linebacker Devin Nicholson, defensive lineman Darius Robinson and defensive lineman DJ Coleman. This marked Burden’s best game of the season as he caught 4 passes for 66 yards with 1 receiving touchdown and 1 rushing touchdown.

The Tigers have rolled best when he’s been as involved as possible, and that’s something that should be noted moving forward.

Missouri will look to continue its recent good fortune as the Tigers face the South Carolina Gamecocks up next on the schedule.
