Missouri running back Nate Noel has been a key piece of the Tigers’ offense in 2024. The former Appalachian State RB leads the team in rushing with 503 yards and has also found the end zone twice.
Noel missed the Tigers’ last game, in Week 9 against Alabama, with a foot injury. The injury occurred against Auburn in Week 8, and the talented transfer had to leave the game. Now, Noel is healthy enough to play against Oklahoma in Week 11, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Noel’s best game as a Tiger came back in September against Vanderbilt. The talented RB rushed 24 times for 199 yards and also caught 3 passes. The Tigers went on to win that game in overtime. Noel also eclipsed the 100-yard mark against Boston College.
Before transferring to Missouri, Noel spent 4 seasons at App State. The RB racked up 3,074 yards and 18 TDs over 44 games with the Mountaineers. The Tigers added Noel and fellow RB Marcus Carroll via the transfer portal this offseason after losing Cody Schrader to the NFL.
With Noel in tow, the Tigers will be seeking to improve to 7-2 on the season against the Sooners. With Oklahoma’s move to the SEC, these teams are once again in the same conference after both previously being in the Big 12.
The Tigers and Sooners will kick off from Memorial Stadium at 7:45 p.m. ET.
