Mizzou LB Chad Bailey was arrested early Sunday morning for DWI.

As reported by Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Boone County (Missouri) Sheriff’s Office records show that Bailey was booked at 2:46 local time Sunday time on a DWI charge. Bailey’s bail was set at $500, and he was released on bond.

Bailey is in his sixth year with the Tigers, using the NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver from 2020 to return for another redshirt senior season at MU. Over his career, he has played in 43 games, recording 123 tackles, including 16 for loss and 3.5 sacks.

Bailey made 9 appearances during his first 2 seasons at Mizzou. In 2020, he played in all 10 games for the Tigers. Bailey made 8 starts in 2021, appearing in all 13 games. He made 11 starts in 2022, putting up the best numbers of his college career with 57 tackles, 8.5 TFLs and 2.5 sacks.

Mizzou held an indoor scrimmage Saturday in place of a traditional spring game.
