When the Missouri Tigers travel to Morgantown for their Week 1 matchup with West Virginia, the Mountaineers will be without their leading returning tackler.

West Virginia coach Dana Holgorsen said today that S Dravon Askew-Henry will miss the entire 2016 season after injuring his left knee on Friday:

“This is a tremendous loss for our football team,” Holgorsen said. “Without a doubt Dravon was one of our leaders on and off the field. We will support him through his recovery and work with him to get him 100 percent  back to health.”

Last year, Askew-Henry started all 13 games for the Mountaineers, recording 59 tackles and one interception.

Missouri travels to take on West Virginia on Saturday, Sept. 3. The game is scheduled to kick off at noon Eastern time.
