He’s at it again.

Jeremy Maclin caught just five passes on 16 targets Sunday as the Philadelphia Eagles (3-1) lost to San Francisco, 26-21.

But the 2009 first-round pick out of Missouri made the catch of the weekend on the potential game-winning drive, which stalled after a third-and-goal at the 1.

Philadelphia didn’t score a single offensive touchdown behind an offensive line decimated by injuries. But with the game on the line, Maclin made four catches for 59 yards, including the jaw-dropping one-handed tip drill.

  • Offensive tackle Justin Britt and the Seattle Seahawks didn’t play this week. But Britt apparently flew back home to Lebanon, Mo., for the weekend, then kept tabs on a particular game on the ride back Saturday evening.

And apparently his wife leveraged Twitter to get some soup.

  • New York Jets DL Sheldon Richardson made two sacks this week, one on Monday Night Football against Chicago and one Sunday against Detroit. But the team lost both games. Tenth-year veteran C.J. Mosley made a tackle for loss for the Lions in the same game.
  • Tennessee Titans LB Zaviar Goodsen (five tackles) led the usual parade of former Missouri Tigers making defensive contributions on NFL Sundays. Jacksonville DE Ziggy Hood, Carolina DE Kony Ealy, San Francisco DE Justin Smith and Tampa Bay DE Jacquies Smith all made at least one tackle as well.
  • The Atlanta Falcons defense may have lost two former Missouri players for the season. First, LB Sean Weatherspoon ruptured his Achilles before the season. Now SS William Moore left Sunday’s game with a shoulder injury, and early reports indicate he could be out for the year as well.
  • The Tennessee Titans signed TE Chase Coffman five days ago. Coffman was on the team during training camp.
  • A career special teams player, ILB Andrew Gachkar started on defense for San Diego, which opened in nickel defense. Gachkar finished the game with five tackles and helped the Chargers beat Jacksonville in the first start for QB Blake Bortles.
  • San Francisco LB Aldon Smith still is suspended. St. Louis had a bye, so CB E.J. Gaines didn’t play.
