Nick Bolton intercepts pass from Patrick Mahomes during Chiefs' practice
Former Missouri LB Nick Bolton was a second-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Bolton was getting some first-round buzz, but he fell almost to the end of Round 2 before the Chiefs scooped him up with the No. 58 overall pick.
Drafting Bolton is already paying dividends. During Tuesday’s practice, Bolton snagged an interception off a pass from superstar QB Patrick Mahomes:

Yes, this is only practice, but it’s still a good sign for both Bolton and the Chiefs that he’s performing well, particularly in pass coverage.
Bolton had 2 interceptions during his Mizzou career, both during the 2019 campaign. He returned 1 of them for a touchdown. Bolton is in the mix to be a starter for the Chiefs this fall.
