Paul Finebaum was very critical of Alabama last week after the Crimson Tide lost at Tennessee. They responded in a big way this weekend, as they defeated Missouri by a score of 31-0.

Now, it is Missouri in the crosshairs of a Finebaum rant; mainly their head coach Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers’ inability to compete in big games. During an appearance on The Matt Barrie Show, Finebaum talked about how bad the Tigers have been blown away in their 2 big games this year.

“Matt, in the two biggest games this year against A&M and Alabama, they have been outscored I believe 75-10,” Finebaum said. “It is frightening how poorly that team has played under the bright lights.”

The host, Matt Barrie threw out the question of ‘if not now, when’ for the Tigers when it comes to making the College Football Playoff.

“We were going into the arguing in terms of skill position,” Barrie said. “Brady Cook, Theo Wease and Luther Burden III. Also, the transfer running backs in Marcus Carroll and Nate Noel. You were like Missouri is loaded and they were the team in the SEC no one is talking is about with Ole Miss. I know Cook was out, but you couldn’t get Burden the ball. You couldn’t get Theo Wease the ball. It leaves you wondering if not now, when is this thing going to progress.”

The Tigers will be off next week before hosting former Big 12 rival Oklahoma in SEC play.
