Former Missouri DT Terry Beckner Jr. was picked in Round 7 of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He’s yet to make an impact on the field for the Bucs during the regular season, though he did play this preseason.

Now, it appears he’ll have to wait even longer for a chance to play, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday that Beckner had been suspended for 4 games for violating the NFL’s PED policy:

Beckner was behind Vita Vea and Beau Allen on the depth chart at nose tackle. Whether or not he works his way onto the field after the suspension remains to be seen.

The Bucs are currently 2-4 through their first 6 games of the 2019 season.
