Former Mizzou QB Blaine Gabbert is set to have a new NFL home.

Multiple reports have linked the Arizona Cardinals to Gabbert, and he’s expected to sign a one-year minimum salary. Gabbert would compete with Drew Stanton and Zac Dysert to become Carson Palmer’s back up.

Gabbert was originally selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars No. 10 overall in the 2011 NFL Draft, and the Jaguars felt as if they had their franchise signal caller. But after three disappointing years there, Gabbert landed with the San Francisco 49ers.

In six career NFL seasons, Gabbert has thrown for 7,351 yards, 38 TDs and 37 INTs, completing just 56 percent of his passes. He most recently started five games for the 49ers in 2016, throwing six INTs compared to five TDs.

Gabbert threw for over 6,800 yards and 40 TDs during his three-year career at Mizzou.
