After Mizzou’s first-round loss to Oklahoma in the NCAA Tournament on Saturday, guard Xavier Pinson posted a message on social media indicating he was unhappy.
He didn’t play much down the stretch against the Sooners in a tight game, as coach Cuonzo Martin opted to give backup Drew Buggs big minutes.
It seems the relationship is beyond repair at this point, as it was reported on Tuesday evening that Pinson had entered the transfer portal, a move many Mizzou fans had feared would happen:

Pinson started all 26 games for the Tigers in 2020-21, averaging 13.6 points, 2.9 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game.
Where he ends up next remains to be seen, but this is a big loss for Martin and the Tigers.
