Report: Mizzou finalizes coaching staff with hire of DL coach from the NFL ranks
The Missouri Tigers had a lot of change on the defensive side of the ball with assistant coaches this offseason.
New DC Steve Wilks joins the program from the NFL ranks, having most recently served as the Cleveland Browns’ defensive coordinator in 2019.
It seems head coach Eli Drinkwitz is once again dipping into the NFL ranks, as he has reportedly hired former Seattle Seahawks assistant DL coach Jethro Franklin to be the new Mizzou DL coach:

Franklin replaces Brick Haley, who was a holdover from Barry Odom’s Mizzou staff. Now, the Tigers again have 10 assistants.
Franklin has been with the Seahawks since 2018, but didn’t coach in 2020. He has prior experience with the Raiders, the Miami Hurricanes, Temple, USC and more.
