Last year, the Denver Broncos selected former Mizzou QB Drew Lock in the second round of the NFL Draft.

In Round 4 of the 2020 NFL Draft on Saturday, the Broncos picked former Mizzou TE Albert Okwuegbunam, continuing their trend of surrounding Lock with weapons.

After drafting TE Noah Fant in Round 1 last year and adding Melvin Gordon at running back this offseason, the Broncos are clearly loading up to compete with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West.

Lock was clearly excited about the pick, welcoming his former teammate to Denver:

So, for those keeping track at home, the Broncos have now taken the following offensive players in the draft:

  • Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
  • KJ Hamler, WR, Penn State
  • Lloyd Cushenberry III, OL, LSU
  • Albert Okwuegbunam, TE, Mizzou

The Broncos should be fun to watch this fall.
