Rookie QB Drew Lock has had an up-and-down start to his NFL career with the Denver Broncos, but the former Missouri quarterback has certainly impressed many with his rap skills.

Lock showed how well he knew the lyrics to Young Jeezy’s hit son, “Put On,” to start the second half of the Broncos’ game against the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. The Broncos held on for a 16-15 victory after they built a 16-3 lead, which kept the Raiders from the playoffs.

Lock and coach Vic Fangio give Denver something it hasn’t had since 2014: An offseason that the Broncos aren’t looking for a new QB or head coach.

Lock went 4-1 in five starts, and he gives the Mile High club some optimism for the first time in recent memory. He was 17-for-28 passing on Sunday for 177 yards and a TD.

Lock said he would speak with John Elway and Peyton Manning in the offseason about ways he can improve going into 2020.

If he keeps up that kind of production and winning, look for more rapping on the sidelines.
