Former Oklahoma wide receiver Theo Wease Jr. is headed to the SEC as he announced via Twitter on Sunday that he had committed to Missouri after previously entering the transfer portal.

Wease ended out last season with the Sooners with 19 catches for 378 yards and four scores in 11 games, averaging 19.9 yards per reception. Over 3 seasons at Oklahoma, Wease totaled 64 receptions for 1,044 yards and 10 touchdowns in 28 games.

He has 2 seasons of eligibility remaining after missing the entirety of the 2021 season with an injury. Wease’s decision to transfer from the former 5-star recruit is good news for the Tigers, who look to be without standout wide receiver Dominic Lovett after he announced his intention to transfer.

Wease will join other talented players like Luther Burden, who also broke on the scene this season, in the fold.
