Trajan Jeffcoat announces plans for 2022 season

Trajan Jeffcoat was a first-team All-SEC pass rusher in 2020, recording 6 sacks to lead the Missouri Tigers.

This year, he only had 3.5 sacks, good for only fourth place on the Tiger defense. That unit as a whole took a step back this past fall.

So, on Thursday, Jeffcoat announced via Twitter that he was going to return in 2022 to try to get back to that All-SEC form. You can see his announcement below:

That’s big news for DC Steve Wilks, head coach Eli Drinkwitz and the Missouri defense. That unit has to play better in 2022 if the Tigers are going to take a step forward.

We’ll see who else joins Jeffcoat in returning to the fold for next season.
