Trajan Jeffcoat was an All-SEC player in 2020, recording 23 tackles and 6 sacks for the Missouri Tigers’ defense.

This past season, Jeffcoat appeared in all 13 games for the Tigers, recording 21 tackles and 1 sack.

He hasn’t quite regained that 2020 form, but the good news is he isn’t out of college eligibility just yet. On Tuesday, the Mizzou edge rusher announced via Twitter that he was returning to Columbia for 1 more season with the Tigers in 2023:

Fellow Mizzou DL Darius Robinson recently announced he was returning to CoMo in 2023. The Tigers will also get some key pieces back in the secondary.

With Jeffcoat now back in the mix, the Tigers could once again have one of the SEC’s better defensive units next season.
