Antar Thompson, who is a Missouri alumnus, has committed to continue his college career at Valdosta State.

Thompson, who said he is listed at 6-foot-5 and 275 pounds, wrote on social media, “A lot of people might not know but I am blessed to have received an scholarship offer from Valdosta a few weeks back and have been committed sense that’ day super excited to see what the future brings.”

Thompson was largely a backup defensive lineman in his time with the Tigers. He recorded 5 total tackles over 2 seasons, and graduated in 2020.

Thompson was entering his redshirt senior season with the Tigers, playing 4 games each in the past two seasons. The St. Louis native enrolled at MU in January 2018 after transferring from Highland Community College, the Kansas City Star reported.
