Von Miller has Drew Lock's back in Denver: 'In my eyes, Drew is the guy'
Right now, the Denver Broncos have Brett Rypien as their quarterback as 2019 second-round pick Drew Lock recovers from an injury suffered in Week 1.
When the former Mizzou star is healthy, though, he’s expected to get his starting job back to lead an offense that has plenty of young talent but has been ravaged by injuries this year.
On “Tiki and Tierney” on Wednesday, Broncos defensive star Von Miller said he fully believes Lock is the guy to lead the Denver offense:
"In my eyes, Drew [Lock] is the guy. And Drew has been the guy since day 1 since I first seen him… just being around him, he just has the superstar glow about him." @VonMiller joins @TikiAndTierney to discuss his thoughts on Broncos QB Drew Lock. pic.twitter.com/nmDObMW6Eo

“In my eyes, guys, like, Drew is the guy,” Miller says. “And Drew has been the guy since Day 1 since I first seen him. … Just being in the locker room with him and just being around him, he just has the superstar glow about him.”
Lock is questionable for this weekend’s game, but even if he can’t play this week, he should be ready to return soon enough. We’ll see if he can finish the 2020 season on a strong note.
