When Mizzou was hosting Georgia earlier this year, an interception from Tiger QB Drew Lock was returned for a touchdown with a ridiculous-looking assist from a referee.

On Saturday in the Liberty Bowl against Oklahoma State, Mizzou had another run-in with a ref, leading to a touchdown for the Cowboys.

As you can see in the video below, a Mizzou safety runs into the referee, allowing the Oklahoma State receiver to get free and sprint to the end zone for a 30-yard touchdown:

The ref was in a tough position, of course, but there was probably something (literally anything else) he could have done to avoid setting a pick.

What’s done is done, though, and the Tigers are dealing with some deja vu early in the Liberty Bowl.
