The Birmingham Iron have fallen on hard times the past couple of weeks after starting the AAF season 3-0, but they’re trying to get back in the win column on Sunday evening against San Diego.

A big part of the Iron offense is former Mizzou WR L’Damian Washington, who is making big plays for the team.

On Sunday, he kept that going, scoring on an incredible 83-yard touchdown pass to extend Birmingham’s lead over the Fleet in the second quarter:

At halftime, the Iron led the Fleet 15-9. Washington had two catches for 96 yards, including the touchdown above.

Washington had big-play ability at Mizzou, and it’s clear he hasn’t lost a step now that he’s in the AAF.
