The 2025 SEC baseball regular season is officially over with the final games wrapping up across the league Saturday evening! Now, everyone’s full attention can turn to the SEC Baseball Tournament, set to begin next week in Hoover, AL.
Texas, in its first season within the SEC, is the outright regular-season champion after a 22-8 conference record. That means the Longhorns will also be the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament with a bye through to the quarterfinals.
The rest of the top 4 seeds are Arkansas, LSU and Vanderbilt. The Longhorns and Commodores will be in action on Wednesday, while the Tigers and Razorbacks will see their first action on Friday.
Everything leads up to the championship game on Sunday, with one team earning the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Tennessee won the 2024 SEC Tournament en route to the College World Series title, and the Vols have won 2 of the last 3 SEC Tournaments.

The SEC Tournament runs May 20-25 in Hoover, Alabama. All 16 SEC teams qualify for the single-elimination tournament. The top 4 seeds receive a bye into the quarterfinal round.
