SEC baseball is looking to continue its domination of winning titles in college baseball. Based on the full bracket for the NCAA Tournament, the league is in a great spot to continue that stretch.

On Monday, the full bracket was revealed with the SEC featured prominently throughout. The league claimed 6 of the top 8 overall seeds for the tournament, giving those teams a chance to host Super Regionals and dictate the overall path to the College World Series in Omaha.

In terms of total spots, the SEC placed 13 teams into the field, setting a new record for most bids by a single conference in one NCAA Tournament. Adding a touch of dominance to that record is the fact that the SEC snapped its own record of 11 bids, established during the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

This season, Vanderbilt is the No. 1 overall seed, giving the SEC its 4th No. 1 overall seed in the past 5 NCAA Tournaments. The SEC has also produced 5 straight College World Series winners, including 5 different schools in that stretch. Oregon State in 2018 was the last non-SEC program to win it all in Omaha.

If the latest College World Series odds are any indication, the SEC is well on its way to extending that streak yet again. The SEC holds the top 4 spots in those odds and 7 of the top 10 spots ahead of the regional round beginning this week.
