Baseball walk-offs are always special, even if they come via bases-loaded walks.

One night after a 1-0 victory over Penn in the bottom of the ninth, the No. 24 Texas A&M Aggies victimized the Quakers again Saturday in College Station – this time as Sawyer Farr drew a bases-loaded walk to trot home the winning run in a 2-1, 11-inning decision.

Farr’s eye in the batter’s box won it for the Aggies (5-0), but his bat tied it – as the No. 9 hitter doubled down the right-field line to score Terrence Kiel II in the bottom of the ninth. Kiel was also on third base when Farr drew the 3-1 walk off Penn reliever Ben Moulin to touch off a second consecutive wild celebration inside Blue Bell Park.

Gavin Collins singled home his team’s lone run in the third and went 3-for-5 for Penn (0-2). Kiel and Nico Partida were each 2-for-4 for Texas A&M.

Texas A&M starter Weston Moss struck out eight in six innings of work, and the bullpen combination of Juan Vargas and Clayton Freshcorn (1-0) allowed just one hit in five innings of scoreless relief.

Marty Coyne struck out nine for Penn over five innings, but Moulin (0-1) allowed three hits in his 2/3 innings of work to pick up the loss.

The two teams meet again Sunday to complete the series at 2 p.m. ET. The Aggies are now 6-0 on the season.
