John Mobley Jr, 2024 4-star PG, sets SEC commitment date

2024 4-star point guard prospect John ‘Juni’ Mobley Jr. will has set his official commitment date to Oct. 16, as he announced via Twitter this week.
The 6-foot shotmaker out of Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, Nevada narrowed his options down to Arizona State, Creighton, LSU, Ohio State, USC and Xavier. So far, he has taken a pair of official visits to Creighton and Ohio State.
Specifically in regard to LSU, the amount of action he could potentially see at his position is something that appeals to Mobley.
“They like shooters,” he said in an interview with On3 Sports. “They would let me shoot 20 shots a game if I have to.”

Finalists: Creighton, Ohio State, Xavier, LSU, Arizona State, USC.

According to 247Sports, Mobley ranks as the No. 7 point guard in the nation, the No. 3 prospect in the state of Nevada and the No. 43 prospect in the nation.
