The 2025-26 college basketball season is just around the corner, and this fall’s ACC/SEC Challenge is reportedly set. On Wednesday, college basketball insider Jon Rothstein revealed the lineup of 16 games to be played between teams from the SEC and the ACC.
Defending national champion Florida will travel to Duke. The Blue Devils and Gators nearly played in the NCAA Tournament championship game, but Houston stunned Duke in the semifinals. UF went on to defeat Houston with a thrilling late comeback to win the third national championship in Florida basketball history.

Other highlight matchups include a blueblood battle between North Carolina and Kentucky in Lexington. Former LSU coach Will Wade is sure to get an interesting welcome when he takes his NC State squad to Auburn. John Calipari’s Arkansas squad is matched up against Louisville, a familiar foe from Cal’s days in Lexington.
